Stuffed Peanut Butter Dates

I’m not kidding when I say that these stuffed peanut butter dates taste exactly like a candy bar. They are so delicious, and too easy to make. All you need is just 3 ingredients and you can have a healthy version of a snicker’s bar.

I was a little skeptical the first time I made these. I didn’t believe only dates and peanut butter would taste exactly like a candy bar, but after trying it I can confirm that it does.

As someone who has a huge, sweet tooth this combination is a lifesaver. What I love about this snack is it’s so easy to make, only 3 ingredients that make you feel amazing after eating. Unlike eating a whole candy bar that may taste good in the moment but ends up making you feel gross.

I don’t know whose idea this was to stuff peanut butter and chocolate in dates but whoever it was is amazing! These are perfect for fighting sugar cravings because they actually taste like candy.

This is also a balanced snack made up of carbs, protein, and fat. It is perfect for that midday snack, or post dinner dessert craving. I promise this combination is so incredibly tasty, you have to try it!

How Each Ingredient Benefits Us:

Dates

Dates are filled with natural sweetness and rich flavor. They are strong in nutrients and have a variety of antioxidants. Dates also provide a lot of fiber which supports digestion. They are perfect sweeteners in varieties of desserts, smoothies, and energy balls providing no added sugar.

Peanut Butter

Peanut Butter is a great source of protein and healthy fats. Since most peanut butters have added sugar and preservatives, the best option is to buy natural peanut butter. It will stay fresher when stored in the fridge.

Dark Chocolate

Dark chocolate, containing 70% of cacao, is a powerful source of antioxidants. Research has also shown that consuming dark chocolate can improve cardiovascular health and lower blood pressure.
